Unlike the previous season, there was a loose story arc, in which Joy steals a truck and accidentally kidnaps a man inside it. As this was her third strike, Joy faces life imprisonment, leading to her trial in the season finale.

7M Pictures gave the season 5 of 5. DVD Town said the season was one of the funniest shows on television today, if, that is, you can get past the show's lack of political correctness and rated the audio 8 of 10, video also 8 of 10, extras 7 of 10 and the film value an 8 of 10. All other reviews were mainly good.
