My 600-lb Life is a reality television series currently airing on TLC. Each episode follows a year in the life of a morbidly obese person (who starts the episode weighing around 600 pounds (270 kg)) and their attempts to reduce their weight to a healthy level, usually with the assistance of gastric bypass surgery performed by Houston-area surgeon Younan Nowzaradan.
