Leader of confederation of Telugu nobles who united to liberate Telugu country from Muslim rule.

Musunuri Kapaya Nayak (also known as Musunuri Kaapaaneedu, Krishna Nayak and Kanya Nayak) was a leader of a confederacy of several sovereign Telugu nobles who united to liberate Telugu country from Muslim rule and protect Hindu dharma. He ruled from Warangal in modern-day Telangana between 1327-1370 CE. As with other Musunuri Nayaks, there is little information concerning him in the historical record, and the lives of the Musunuris in general are often described as "obscure".
