Muslim woman's cheeky selfie is a selfie by a 22 year old Belgian named Zakia Belkhiri that went viral on the Internet. The selfie was taken by Zakia Belkhiri with a peace sign in front of a protest by far-right anti-Islam group Vlaams Belang who were protesting outside an Islamic lifestyle event which she was attending in Belgium.
The BBC later reported that several years prior to the photo being taken, Belkhiri had tweeted, "Hitler didn't kill all the Jews, he left some. So we know why he was killing them." After receiving criticism over this and other social media comments, Belkhiri explained that they were an angry reaction to civilian casualties in Gaza and that she apologised "to everyone in the Jewish community which I've hurt…I am not an anti-semite"
