Murrayville is a village in Morgan County, Illinois, United States. The population was 644 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Jacksonville Micropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the 2010 census, Murrayville has a total area of 0.49 square miles (1.27 km2), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 644 people, 243 households, and 182 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,292.4 people per square mile (497.3/km²). There were 250 housing units at an average density of 501.7 per square mile (193.1/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.38% White, and 0.62% from two or more races.
There were 243 households out of which 35.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.8% were married couples living together, 6.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.1% were non-families. 22.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.65 and the average family size was 3.08.
In the village, the population was spread out with 26.7% under the age of 18, 9.0% from 18 to 24, 30.0% from 25 to 44, 23.1% from 45 to 64, and 11.2% who were 65 years of age or older.
