Murad Meneshian is a research chemist, journalist, translator, and researcher.

Of Armenian descent, Meneshian is a research chemist who has worked for Abbott Laboratories, Zenith corporation, and Bell Laboratories at AT&T/Lucent technologies, where he received a patent. His articles have been published in the Proceedings of the Third International Symposium on Very Large Scale Integration Science and Technology. He has engaged in many studies of Armenia and Mesopotamia. He has translated from Armenian to English Vaham Hampartsumian's Guighashkharh and is engaged in a study of the life and works of famed Armenian writer Raffi. For many years he has been a regular contributor to the Armenian Weekly.

His book Raffi: the prophet from Payajuk has been awarded Book of the Week by the Armenian Weekly.
