The Murad are an Arab tribe of eastern Yemen. The tribe belong to the great southern group of the Madhhidj. Several Islamic scholars have cited the name Murad as a nickname and that their own name for themselves are the Yuhabir. They are described as retaining a typically Beduin character and their territory called al-Djawf, placed to the east of Nadjran and Ma'rib.
