Mukhrovani (Georgian: მუხროვანი) is a village in Kakheti, Georgia, within which is a military base involved in the 2009 Georgian troop mutiny and an earlier mutiny by 60 soldiers on December 20, 2004. It lies 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of the capital Tbilisi, and has held up to members the Special Units of the Ministry of State Security for Georgia, as well as an airborne brigade of 1,000 troops and a tank unit of the Georgian army.
