The mountain masked apalis (Apalis personata), also known as the black-faced apalis, is a species of bird in the Cisticolidae family. It is found in Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, and Uganda. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It was first described in 1902.
