History of Mountain Gate

Mountain Gate was originally developed by Empire Builders of California in 2005. Following the beginning of the Great Recession of 2008 Empire Builders went out of business and stopped construction on the subdivision. In 2011 B&C Land Group of California purchased the property and began developing new homes in September 2014. Mountain gate has 0.14 acre lots while the older phases built by Empire had larger homes generally 2000 square feet or more. The new developer B&C Land Group is currently building models that are smaller than the previous builder Empire. New Gate Homes is currently developing 7 model homes that will be complete by summer of 2015.

Location and Surrounding Area

Mountain Gate neighborhood within 10 minutes of Cottonwood Arizona. Old Town Cottonwood has been re-established in recent years as a community hub of the town of Cottonwood with numerous shops and restaurants. Old Town Cottonwood is within 3 miles of the Mountain Gate Subdivision.

Mountain Gate is 5 miles from Jerome It is 19 miles from Sedone, 33 miles to Prescott, 150 miles to Grand Canyon National Park, and 107 Miles to Phoenix.
