Mount Macnowski (74°59′S 64°57′W) is a mountain in the northern part of the Scaife Mountains, about 5 nautical miles (9 km) west-southwest of Schmitt Mesa, near the base of the Antarctic Peninsula. It was first observed from the air by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition, 1947–48, and was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1961–67. The mountain was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Francis B. Macnowski, a construction mechanic at South Pole Station in 1967.
