Mount Carmel School, Darjeeling

Mount Carmel school was established in the year 1982 by Mrs K. tshering and MR. YD tshering in Rajbari a small village in Darjeeling. The school was started with a small number of students and teachers. The name of the school comes from the Bible which means BEAUTY AND BELIEF. CARMEL means CHALLENGE. They kept the name of the school Mount Carmel because it was a task for the directors with a few number of students and a small school they had to face challenge from the other big schools of Darjeeling.
