Beshtau (Russian: Бештау, from Turkic besh 'five' and tau 'mountain') is an isolated five-domed igneous mountain (laccolith) near Pyatigorsk (after the Russian term Pyatigorye 'area of five mountains') in the Northern Caucasus.
