Motor Trader Magazine is a weekly car classifieds magazine in Malaysia published by PROTO Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

Started by British entrepreneur Sir John Madejski in 1998, following the sale of his Auto Trader classifieds magazine in the UK, Motor Trader magazine employs a similar layout to Auto Trader: cars are broken down into colour-coded sections according to car segments. In 2011, Sir John Madejski sold Motor Trader magazine and the company MTM Multimedia Sdn Bhd to Japanese conglomerate, PROTO Corporation. The company MTM Multimedia Sdn Bhd became PROTO Malaysia Sdn Bhd in March 2012.

Motor Trader Magazine won Advertising & Marketing's Motor Vehicle Magazine of the Year in 2011 and 2013.

Motor Trader Magazine's website lists over 41,000 cars, updated in real time. Motor Trader Magazine and its website are viewed as "go-to" sources of information about cars, both new and used, in Malaysia. Motor Trader website was described as "one of the most popular review and classified sites" in the automotive category in Malaysia by Marketing Magazine based on the results of a study made by Effective Measure, the market research analysts for online media in September 2013.

Since 2012, Motor Trader has been the content provider for the Yahoo! Malaysia Autos page.

In addition to Motor Trader Magazine and motortrader.com.my, there are also iOS and Android mobile phone apps to enable car buyers to look up classifieds listings on their smartphones and tablets.
