BBC World Service BBC Radio 4

More or Less is a BBC Radio 4 programme about numbers and statistics. The programme often presents statistical issues which pertain to topics in the news.

The programme was started in 2001 by Andrew Dilnot as a one-off series of six programmes. The positive response to the show led to it becoming a regular programme, first with two series a year and since the winter series of 2008–2009, with three.

As well as the thirty minute Radio 4 show there is also a ten-minute BBC World Service show that runs throughout the year. Both appear on the show's podcast stream. The World Service show repeats items from Radio 4 and has original material when the Radio 4 show is off air.

Since October 2007 the show has been presented by Tim Harford.
