Mopiko is an ointment for relieving pain and itching caused by nettle rash, bites by mosquitoes, lice or bed bugs, bee and other insect stings, and itching from pimples and similar complaints. It is manufactured in Japan by Ikeda Mohando Co. Ltd. and popular throughout South-East Asia.
The active ingredients of Mopiko are menthol (3.92%), methyl salicylate (3.75%) and camphor (5.83%), giving it a similar composition to Deep Heat.
