The Montreal Internet Exchange (QIX) was incorporated in 2013 as a not-for-profit Internet Exchange Point (IXP) located in Montreal (Quebec), Canada. It was originally created in 1995 and operated by the Réseau d'informations scientifiques du Québec (RISQ).
As of December 2016, QIX had 55 members. The exchange is now averaging 40Gbit/s.
