Montana Business Capital Corporation (MBCC) started in 1998. Tom Swenson, CEO and President, opened doors expanding businesses providing consulting services regarding optimal funding strategies. Once MBCC locked in the funding strategy, they would package the funding request and act as an agent for the borrower. Today, Montana Business Capital is operating as Bancorp of Montana Holding Company which serves as the 100% owner and holding company of Bank of Montana. Bank of Montana was started in 2007 and still offers the boutique investment banking services for expanding businesses.
