Dr. Mohammad Hassan Tahririan (Persian: محمد حسن تحریریان ‎‎) received his B.A. in English at Isfahan University, 1969 and received his M.A. in English from Shiraz University, 1971. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Indiana University, Bloomington, 1978. He was a member of the foreign languages faculty at University of Isfahan where he retired from. His research interests include Teaching and Learning Foreign Language Skills and Core and non-core vocabulary. He has a number of publications, from articles to books. He is currently the professor of Applied Linguistics of Foreign Language department and the vice chancellor for academic affairs of Sheikhbahaei University of Isfahan (or Sheikh Bahaei University). He was one of the ten persons who founded this university in Baharestan New Town, Isfahan.
