A Mixed tumor is a tumor that derives from multiple tissue types.

For example, a "Chondroid syringoma" is a cutaneous condition characterized histologically by nests of cuboidal or polygonal epithelial cells in the dermis. There are two types: one derived from a single germ cell layer that differentiates into more than one cell type, and one derived from more than one germ cell layer (totipotent cells).
