Fictional character biography

Mister Toad is an anthropomorphic toad with a cockney accent who works under Professor Pyg. He was caught in the middle of his crime spree by Batman (Dick Grayson) and Robin. Upon being captured, Mister Toad states that Professor Pyg will retaliate to this. Batman and Robin then leave Mister Toad on the rooftop of the Gotham City Police Department. When the Circus of Strange storms the Gotham City Police Department, Batman and Robin help to fight them where four police officers were killed and six other police officers were injured. After Batman and Robin defeated the Circus of Strange, they found that Mister Toad is dead in his cell holding a domino.

In other media

  • Mister Toad appears in Beware the Batman, voiced by Udo Kier. This version is portrayed as having the ability to sonic croak and sporting a cane that has flamethrower traits. Like Professor Pyg, Mister Toad's nature has him toned down to that of an eco-terrorist. Debuting in "Hunted," Professor Pyg and Mister Toad capture executives like Simon Stagg and Michael Holt to hunt them in retaliation for a shady land deal revolving around the wetlands of Keystone Park which were abandoned in the middle of construction.
