The Missouri Whitewater Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation which promotes paddling as a form of recreation and competition. The association (and its predecessor organizations ) has sponsored the Missouri Whitewater Championship annually since 1968 on the St. Francis River in southeast Missouri.
The 50th annual Missouri Whitewater Championships is scheduled for the weekend of 17-18-19 March 2017.
