"Mississippi", is a song co-written and performed by the Charlie Daniels Band. It was released in September 1979 as the second single from their album Million Mile Reflections. It peaked at number 19 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart and at number 3 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart.
