The Miss Mundo Nicaragua contest is the national beauty pageant of Nicaragua to select the winner for the Miss World pageant.
Titleholders
Since 1960, traditionally the winner or sometimes a handpicked delegate of Miss Nicaragua represented her country at Miss World. On occasion, when the winner didn't qualify (due to age) for either contest, a contestant was sent. Starting in 2011, Nicaraguan representatives at Miss World have been selected 'Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua' (The Miss Mundo Nicaragua pageant). The winner of the pageant represents Nicaragua at Miss World.
