Dr. Mish'aal bin Abdullah bin Abdullaziz bin Musa'ed bin Jiluwi Al Suad is a governor of the Northern Borders Region (Arabic: منطقة الحدود الشمالية‎‎ Al-Ḥudūd Aš-Šamāliyya). He served as an advisor for king Salman before he was appointed governor of Northern Borders Region at rank of minister on 2015/07/13, after the death of his father Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Musa'ed bin Jiluwi Al Saud.

Early life and education

Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah was born in the city of Arar, and studied there until receiving a General Certificate of Secondary school, then earned a bachelor's degree from the United States in industrial management, and a master's degree in business administration International, and a master's in political science from the University of Denver, and a doctorate in international relations from the University of Denver.

After graduation, he worked along with Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as head of the Office of the Information Centre, and travels many official duties outside the Kingdom in the name of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz. He served as an advisor for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, when he was crown prince, even appointed an adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, at the rank of minister. He owns a number of honors, including the Order of Merit in 2008, and order of Kuwait Liberation Medal 1991.
