Minyan Man is a song composed by Victor Shine in 1982. Lenny Solomon of Shlock Rock revised and popularized the song. Noted Jewish musician, Gershon Veroba sang on Solomon's updated version as well. In May 2015, Lenny Solomon rerecorded an a cappella version with The Maccabeats. In promotion of the newly recorded version, Uri westrich produced a music video. "Minyan Man" was also covered by Yidcore, an Australian punk rock Jewish group. The song tells the fictional story of man out of town of business who is looking for a minyan for Shabbat in the small Jewish community of Mobile, AL.
