Ministry of Interior and Security (Somali: Wasaaradda Arrimaha Gudaha Soomaaliya) is the ministry that is responsible for interior affairs and security in Somalia. On 17 January 2014, newly appointed Prime Minister of Somalia, Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed split the ministerial portfolio into Ministry of Interior and Federalism and Ministry of Security, respectively.
