The Ministry for Karamoja Affairs (MINKA), is a Cabinet level government ministry of Uganda. The ministry is responsible for the coordination of all government programs in the five districts of the Karamoja sub-region.

Overview

The ministry is part of the Office of the Prime Minister of Uganda (OPM).

Administrative structure

The cabinet minister is assisted by the State Minister for Karamoja Affairs. The current Sate Minister is Moses Kizige. The chief accounting officer for the ministry is the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister of Uganda, currently Christine Guwatudde Kintu.
