Millie I. Webb was national president (2000–2002) of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), during which time she was especially active in promoting federal legislation pressuring states to lower their maximum legal blood alcohol concentration (BAC) for operating motor vehicles to .08.

In 1991, Ms. Webb was elected to MADD's National Board of Directors, where she became vice-president. She received the organization's Golden Achievement Award in 1998.

During her presidency, Ms. Webb appeared on Fox Television's The O'Reilly Factor, The Today Show the Dr. Laura television program, and NBC Nightly News.
