Miljard is the twenty-third album by the Finnish experimental rock band Circle.

Contents

It was issued as a double CD by Ektro Records in 2006, and represents a dramatic shift in sound for the band. Consisting of long, improvised pieces, and prominently featuring Mika Rättö's repetitive keyboards, the album is closer in style to the ambient music of Harold Budd and Brian Eno than Circle's more usual mix of krautrock and heavy metal.

The making of the album was filmed by Esko Lönnberg, and subsequently released as a DVD, Saturnus Reality by No Quarter Records (2007). Bizarrely, Lönnberg's attempt to make the film itself became the subject of another movie, The Man With The Video Camera, filmed by Petri Hagner, which has also been released as a DVD by Fonal Records (2010).
