Mikaela Engell

Mikaela Engell (born 1956) is the current Danish High Commissioner of Greenland, a post she has held since April 1, 2011. She had previously worked in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs as first a Permanent Secretary and later as a counselor. As High Commissioner she ex officio holds the post as a member of the Danish-Greenland Cultural Foundation. She represents all of the people who live in Greenland.
