Geography
Midland Junction is located at 39°06′26″N 87°11′40″W. It was the location where the Monon Railroad I&L branch crossed the Chicago Milwaukee St Paul and Pacific Railroad.
History
Midland was located at a rail junction near Midland, Indiana, hence the name.
