Michael Gregory Kerran Burgess (born 8 July 1994) is an English cricketer who plays for Sussex County Cricket Club. Primarily a right-handed batsman, he is also a wicket-keeper. Burgess came through the Surrey Academy, making a total of 31 appearances at 2nd XI level between 2011 and 2013.

Burgess made his first class debut for Loughborough MCCU vs. Sussex at Hove, in the second innings he was run out on 49. In April 2015 in a non first class game Burgess scored 116 against a Kent attack including Matthew Coles and Adam Riley. Later than year he made his list A debut for Leicestershire vs. Northamptonshire, in his second list A match he was again run out on 49 vs. Gloucestershire. On the 13th of May Burgess scored 98 vs. the touring Sri Lankan side in a first class match
