Metisella medea, the Medea sylph, is a butterfly in the Hesperiidae family. It is found in Nigeria, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Malawi. The habitat consists of submontane meadows.

The larvae feed on Poaceae species.
