Methylobacter tundripaludum is a methane-oxidizing bacterium. It is Gram-negative, rod-shaped, non-motile, non-spore forming, with type strain SV96^T (=DSM 17260^T =ATCC BAA-1195^T). Its genome has been sequenced.
