Mero sanu sathi

Mero sanu sathi (literally My Small Friend) is a Nepalese-based free and open-source package of educational tools. Currently, Mero sanu sathi contains the following tools:

  • Barnamala, an alphabet learning tool.
  • Dunot, a mathematics learning Tool.
  • Kathaearning, a collection of interactive stories.
  • Chitrapati, a Logo-like IDE for drawing pictures and different geometric shapes.
  • Geetm, listening to nursery rhymes.
  • Khel, a small interactive and educational games collection.

    • In 2007, the software was distributed on a number of One Laptop Per Child computers in the country.
