Mero sanu sathi (literally My Small Friend) is a Nepalese-based free and open-source package of educational tools. Currently, Mero sanu sathi contains the following tools:

Barnamala, an alphabet learning tool.

Dunot, a mathematics learning Tool.

Kathaearning, a collection of interactive stories.

Chitrapati, a Logo-like IDE for drawing pictures and different geometric shapes.

Geetm, listening to nursery rhymes.

Khel, a small interactive and educational games collection.

In 2007, the software was distributed on a number of One Laptop Per Child computers in the country.
