Merdeka station
The Merdeka station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) underground station under construction in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It serves as one of the stations on Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line and will serve as a connecting station (exit paid area) to Plaza Rakyat LRT station on the LRT's Ampang and Sri Petaling Line. The station is located nearby a proposed skyscraper named Warisan Merdeka or KL118, the future tallest building in Malaysia, and also the historic Stadium Merdeka. The main theme of the station is the theme of Merdeka (Independence) and the Spirit of Malaysia's Nationhood.
