Mercedes López-Morales is an Spanish-American astrophysicist at the Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA) who works on detection and characterization of exoplanet atmospheres.
Biography
She has done her undergraduate program at Universidad de La Laguna, in the Canary Islands. Lopez-Morales received a PhD in astronomy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She awarded a Hubble Fellowship at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington, DC, before she joined to Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in early 2012.
