Club career

Mujdža began his career at the age of 18 in the youth team of NK Zagreb and transferred from the Croatian First Football League to SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga in June 2009.

On 12 January 2011, Mujdža extended his contract until 2016.
For the 2015–16 season, he became the vice-captain of Freiburg.
International career

Mujdža is also a former member of Croatia under-20 and the Croatia under-21 national teams. In May 2010, it was confirmed that Mujdža would opt to play for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mujdža earned his first call-up for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team for the friendly games against Sweden on 29 May 2010 and Germany on 3 June 2010.
On 10 August 2010, he made his debut in a friendly game against Qatar.
He was named in Bosnia and Herzegovina's squad for their first big tournament, 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Personal life

His family is from Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina and his brother Jasmin Mujdža played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina.
