This is a list of members of the New South Wales Legislative Council from 1946 to 1949. At this time the Council was not directly elected, but was chosen by a joint sitting of the New South Wales Parliament.
1 Labor MLC Francis Kelly resigned on 15 October 1947. Labor candidate William Coulter was elected to replace him on 11 November 1947.2 Labor MLC George Mullins died on 5 July 1948. Labor candidate Jim Kenny was elected to replace him on 12 August 1948.
