Melenkovsky District (Russian: Ме́ленковский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the sixteen in Vladimir Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,221 square kilometers (858 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Melenki. Population: 36,464 (2010 Census); 41,125 (2002 Census); 49,712 (1989 Census). The population of Melenki accounts for 41.7% of the district's total population.
