Mehmood Ali (born 5 July 1971, Mumbai, India) is an Indian film producer, director, writer and distributor. Started his career as writer with his mentor veteran actor director Kadar Khan shaab. He is now well known producer and director in Indian Film Industry. In 2004 he launched his own company Pen N Camera International which is now one of the leading distribution house in Indian Film Industry.

Early life
Mehmood Ali started his schooling from Anjuman Islam mahableshwar, however further he continued his studies in Bandra Urdu high school Mumbai, during his school days at the age of 15 he started his career with Kadar Khan as translator of Hindi dialogue into Urdu Language. In the year 1998 he wrote his first film saazish starring superstar Mithun Chakraborty which was produced by Lala damani. He wrote his first serial aaha for the channel ITV which is now Zee TV. At the age of 21 Japanese TV channel NHK Made Documentary on Mehmood Ali as youngest writer in entertainment Industry.
Career as Producer
In 2004 Mehmood Ali launched his company Pen N Camera International under this banner he released his first movie Babul Pyaare as independent producer starring Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan movie was super hit and had a decent collection at Box-office. After that he made many films as producer which made him one of the well known producer at Bollywood. In 2015 his coming up with Film starring Amitabh Bachchan the movie name is leader directed by Deepak Sawant and produced by Mehmood Ali the movie trailer is out now and making a huge buzz in the market

Mehmood Ali did international distribution and marketing for the movie DDLJ starring Shahrukh Khan he did the film marketing in Malaysia and had a decent collection over there after that he had good hold in international market he is first Indian film-maker who got subsidy in London and he made more than 17 films in London in span time of 7 years.
