Meghan Trainor discography

American singer and songwriter Meghan Trainor has released two studio albums, two EPs, five singles and three independent albums. Prior to her solo career, she was part of a local family band called Island Fusion. Following the release of three independent albums, Meghan Trainor (2009), I'll Sing with You and Only 17 (2011), Trainor signed a record deal with Epic Records in February 2014. As a result, her first three records were pulled from circulation. Trainor's debut single, "All About That Bass", was released through Epic on June 30, 2014, with it topping the Billboard Hot 100 for eight non-consecutive weeks. The track became the longest-reigning number-one by an Epic recording artist in the United States, surpassing the seven-week record held by Michael Jackson's songs "Billie Jean" (1983) and "Black or White" (1991). "All About That Bass" became a number-one single in fellow 58 countries and sold over 11 million units internationally, thus becoming one of the best-selling singles.

"All About That Bass" was certified nine-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and preceded Trainor's debut EP, Title (2014), which peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200 in September 2014. Her second single, "Lips Are Movin", released on October 21, 2014, peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100, with it being vertified quadruple platinum in America. the recording was featured on her fourth studio album, Title (2015), which replaced her EP of the same name on music provider iTunes. Upon release, the album debuted atop the American record charts. Trainor's third single, "Dear Future Husband", was certified double platinum by the RIAA. It reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her third consecutive top 15 single. Trainor's fourth single, "Like I'm Gonna Lose You", which featured John Legend, was certified double platinum by the RIAA. It peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Trainor's third top-10 song. It also reached number one in fellow Australia and New Zealand. The lead single from Trainor's upcoming second major-label studio album, Thank You, called "No" was released on March 4, 2016 and charted at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Trainor's second top-three song.
