Megan Lotts


Megan Lotts is Assistant Professor and Fine Arts librarian at Southern Illinois University (SIUC) in the United States. She has a degree in Library and information science, and handles Library Affairs at SIUC. She has worked at SIUC since 2010. Lotts was born in Schaumburg, Illinois and raised in Mattoon, Illinois where she aspired to be a teacher. Across two courses Professor Lotts holds a grading history of 3.54.

Projects

Thinking of you was a project overseen by Lotts which aimed to highligh the significance of “one of a kind” artworks, the importance of communication, and how the US postal system and art plays a role in our everyday lives.

The FLOAT Project was an art installation based on cardboard lotus flowers at the university.
