Meet the Adebanjo's is a family based British sitcom produced by MTA Productions and created by Debra Odutuyo and Andrew Osayemi. It is currently the UK’s Number 1 British African Sitcom. It is centred on a British-African family living in Peckham, South London The Sitcom focuses on the larger than life father character Bayo Adebanjo as he struggles to instil his old fashioned African values on his reluctant modern British family. The comedy comes from the typical ups and downs of family life and Bayo's rivalry with the larger than life and rather eccentric Auntie Funke.

The sitcom began as a revolutionary self-funded web series in 2011 and would soon become an international hit on televisions across the globe. With the series being shown in countries like South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda. Since its launch the programme has gained a devoted following in the British-African community.

So far 2 seasons have been produced, spanning 31 episodes in total. Season 2 premiered in the UK on channel OHTV in 2014 and on Africa Magic/M-Net in Africa. Meet the Adebanjo’s has been critically acclaimed and won a number of awards including Zaffa, NEL, Screen Nation, Beffta and UK Black Comedy Awards.

in December 2015 it was announced that a 3rd season of Meet the Adebanjo's will launch on the multi-ethnic content service Lebara Play. The third season will be available to watch from the beginning of 2016 and includes 18 new episodes. Bringing a total of 50 episodes produced. [1]
