Medchal−Malkajgiri is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. It was a part of Ranga Reddy district before the re-organisation of districts in the state.

Geography
The district is spread over an area of 5,005.98 square kilometres (1,932.82 sq mi).
Demographics
As of 2011 census of India, the district is the second most populous district in the state with a population of 25,42,203.
Administrative divisions
The district will have two revenue divisions of Keesara and Malkajgiri. They are sub-divided into 14 mandals. M.V.Reddy is the present collector of the district.
