Meadowfair is in District 8 of San Jose and adjacent to Eastridge Mall. This neighborhood has a significantly high percentage of Mexican Americans in the area of East San Jose very similar to King and Story neighborhood less than a mile away down King Rd. Parking is notoriously bad, as many houses have more than one family, with several cars per person.

This area is noted for being shaped like a piano, and the street names have a musical theme.
