McLean Buttress (77°19′S 160°58′E) is a buttress-like mountain or promontory at the north side of Webb Lake and Barwick Valley in Victoria Land, Antarctica. It rises abruptly from the valley and marks the southern limit of the cliffs known as The Fortress. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Captain Frank E. McLean, United States Coast Guard, Commanding Officer of the USCGC Burton Island in the Ross Sea during Operation Deep Freeze 1970 and 1971.
