Mawukura (born c. 1924) is an Australian Aboriginal artist and a Walmajarri man.

Contents

His country is around Wayampajarti, a jila (a permanent waterhole) in the north-western area of the Great Sandy Desert.

10 years after first starting to paint, his works have been sold to overseas collectors and are represented in the National Gallery of Australia.
