Maurice Bou Kanaan (in Arabic موريس بو كنعان ) sometimes just Maurice Kanaan (born December 16, 1984) is an American former international professional basketball player, who played small forward and power forward positions.

As a high school standout, Kanaan was an honorable mention All-Ohio player coming out of Firestone High School in Akron, Ohio in 2003, after averaging 21 points and 10 rebounds per game. After graduation, he continued on with his college career at the Akron Zips of The University of Akron of the Mid-American Conference (MAC), from 2003-2005.

The 6'6", 205 lbs forward, an American citizen of Lebanese origin played professionally in the Lebanese Basketball League with Hekmeh (also known as Club Sagesse, Beirut) from 2005 to 2011 averaging 7.7 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
